Telangana : Rahul Gandhi, Congress MP here on wednesday said that Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) were working together to defeat Telangana.
Telangana State is going to polls on November 30 and a tough political battle is expected to see between Congress and BRS in the upcoming elections.
“There is an electoral contest between Congress and BRS in Telangana State. Though we have defeated the BJP here but BJP wants BRS to win in Telangana. Both the parties are working together even AIMIM is associated with them,” alleged Rahul Gandhi while addressing a public gathering at Mulugu in Telangana State.
Rahul Gandhi claimed that BRS acted upon BJP’s advice in the Parliament House. The BRS reportedly supported the farmers and GST bills in the House. He alleged that all possible efforts were being made by the all three parties to defeat the Congress in Telangana State.
He sought clarification as to why not CBI or ED had not filed any cases against Chief Minister Telangana K. Chandrashekar Rao.
