Ahead of Telangana Assembly Election Cash, Gold and Silver Ornaments seizure continued by the Police during the vehicle checking drive at different places in the State.
On Monday, Rs 2.35 crores unaccountable cash was seized by Karimnagar Police, while the Nalgonda Police managed to seize Rs 3.04 crores of Hawala Money on Sunday and two people from Gujarat were taken into custody for the probe.
Similarly, Miyapur Police also seized Gold and Silver items worth over Rs 10 crore during the vehicle checking drive and three persons said to have been arrested in this regard.
According to Police, three persons were taken into custody during vehicle checking drive and over 16 kgs gold items, and more than 23 kgs silver ornaments worth over Rs 10 crore were recovered from their procession that were carrying without proper documents.
The seizures of unaccounted cash, gold, silver, and other things worth over Rs 100 mark in last 7 days. The cash Rs 58.96 crores, Liquor worth around Rs 6.64 crores, Drugs worth of Rs 64.2 kgs, Gold 400 kg, Silver Rs 6.89 crores total worth Rs 109.11 cr seized till now.
Telangana State is going to poll on November 30th and all the political parties have been busy to undertake poll campaigns.
