Tickets row: “Revanth Reddy and Narasihma Reddy should be suspended,” Kotha Manohar Reddy
Days after being suspended from Congress Party, Kotha Manohar Reddy came out with a demand to suspend TPCC president Revanth Reddy and Narasihma Reddy for their alleged role in allocating party tickets in lieu of hush-money.
Addressing to Media Conference, suspended Manohar Reddy asked Revanth Reddy, president Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) to swear at the Bhagyalakshmi temple to make it clear that he has not accept hush money to give MLA tickets for the coming polls.
He also alleged that Badangpet Mayor Chigirintha Parijatha Narasimha Reddy reportedly offered Rs 10 crores and five acres registered land to Revanth Reddy as quid pro quo for the allocation of Maheshwaram ticket.
“TPCC President Revanth Reddy and Narasihma Reddy should be suspended from the Congress Party. Why no such action is taken against them,” questioned, suspended congress party leader.
“Revanth Reddy had taken oath at the Bhagyalakshmi Temple to refute the allegations made by BJP leader Etela Rejendar for accepting 25 crores. What is now stopping him doing the same? If TPCC president does not swear then people would believe that he has taken hush money to sell party tickets,” said, Kotha Manohar Reddy.
