The Congress Party on Sunday announced to fulfill 6 guarantee schemes once its form the government in Telangana State. Addressing to a public gathering at Tukkuguda, in Ranga Reddy District, Sonia Gandhi, former president of the Congress Party assured that the party was committed to fulfill its words.
The Schemes including Mahalakshmi – Rs 2500 per month to the women, Rs 500 Gas Subsidy and Free Bus Services for the women. Other schemes include Rythu Bhorasa which will give landless labour Rs 12000 per year, tenant farmer & landed farmers to get Rs 15000 per year.
The paddy crop get Rs 500 bonus per quintal, Gruhajyothi guarantee – 200 units free power to every household, Indiramma Indlu Guarantee – those who do not have home will get land or Rs 5 lakh for the construction.
Telangana movement fighters to get 250 square yards, Yuva Vikasam Guarantee, Vidya Bharoasa Card worth Rs 5 lakh, elderly to get Rs 4000 monthly pension, Rs 10 lakh Health Insurance were announced by the Congress Party in Telangana.
“Congress guarantees will empower my dear sisters in Telangana. The Mahalakshmi scheme will guarantee Rs 2500 per month for women, LPG cylinder will get at Rs 500 and free bus service for women in TSRTC. We are committed to fulfilling our promises. It has been my dream to see a Congress Government in Telangana and our government will work for all the sections of the society,’’ said, Sonia Gandhi, former president of Congress Party while addressing to gathering in Telangana State.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that the guarantee schemes would be fulfilled soon after the formation its government in the State.
“The promise of Golden Telangana lies shattered, betrayed by Government both in Delhi and Hyderabad despite passing nine years. The CWC earnestly appeal to the people of Telangana to cast their votes for the Congress in the upcoming Assembly and Parliament elections. It is time to reignite the dream of Bangaaru Telangana, and deliver the future that the people of Telangana deserve,’’ Congress leaders reminded people of Telangana.
However, Congress Working Committee concluded by expressing it’s confidence that Indian National Congress would receive a decisive mandate from the people of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Rajasthan and Telangana in the Assembly polls likely to be held soon.
“It also reaffirms the preparedness of the party organization for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, which are due in April-May 2024. The Congress Party is fully ready for the battle ahead. It is confidence that people of our country are wanting change.
