Hyderabad: A person who was previously reportedly involved in a murder case, hacked to death at Baba Nagar under Kanchan Bagh Police Station limits on Tuesday.
According to police, Shaik Naseer Ahmed, 30, resident of Baba Nagar was intercepted by a group of assailants and started attacking him with sharp weapons due to this he was seriously injured.
However, he was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Later, the body was shifted to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for postmortem.
Police suspect that it may be a revenge killing as he was involved in a case. However, Police registered a case and probe is on.
“Shaik Naseer was attacked by four-five persons between 2-3 hours. Immediately after, Police rushed to spot and shifted the body to the hospital. As per preliminary information, the man was a rowdy sheeter in a case. It may be revenge killing and we are finding out more about in this case,” Police informed.
