Almost 1,000 people were killed and over 1,000 wounded after a 6.8-magnitude earthquake hit Morocco on Friday.
According to reports, an earthquake struck in the province of Al Haouz, about 43 miles south of Marrakesh, devastating buildings and sending panicked residents of several cities fleeing to the streets in search of safety.
