Majlis Bachao Tahreek (MBT) demanded Judicial inquiry into M Ravinder (Home Guard) burning issue and sought clarification as to why CM KCR, KTR & Mahmood Ali Home Minister didn’t visited hospital and met the family ?
Amjed Ullah Khan, Spokesman, MBT today visited Apollo Hospital Kanchanbagh and met M Sandhya (Wife) and Krishna Veni (Mother) of M Ravinder (Home Guard) who attempted suicide while performing duty three days back and suffered 65% burns.
Mr Khan said that, “its very sad to note that CM KCR, KTR, Mahmood Ali Home Minister didn’t visited the hospital nor met the family till now and it has come to the notice that other Home Guards and there association members who are coming to meet the family are being harrassed and arrested by the Police to supress the case,”
Mr Khan said that CM KCR is accountable for the incident as had promised to regularise Home Guards services on par with Govt Employees.
” I felt very bad on knowing that M Ravinder is the only son to his mother and having two minor sons Manish-16 and Kaushik-14 years both persuing Intermediate and IXth and only a Judicial inquiry can unearth the truth as what has tempted M Ravinder to attempt suicide,” said, Amjed Ullah Khan.
It may be mentioned here that Home Guard Ravindher was reportedly upset over non-payment of salary, who was working with the Hyderabad Traffic Police attempted self-immolation.
According to reports, M. Ravinder, 36, resident of Uppuguda, was attached to Traffic Police Chandrayangutta. He was not getting his pay on time that drove him to take extreme steps.
