The suspended BJP Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh here on Monday reacted against the BRS’s candidates list declared for the upcoming Assembly polls in the State. He was seen in a video surfaced on the social media minutes after releasing the candidates list by CM KCR.
He alleged that the name of the candidate for Goshamahal Constituency was not declared by the ruling party to appease AIMIM in Hyderabad. Raja Singh announced to contest the election from the same constituency and would register his victory.
“Today, Chief Minister of Telangana has declared the candidates list for the forthcoming Assembly polls except four candidates including GoshaMahal Constituency. I want to remind it that I won the election twice from here and the candidate of this constituency may be decided by AIMIM. but BJP’s candidate will sure come out victorious in 2023 as well from Goshamahal Constituency,’’ claimed, Raja Singh.
It may be mentioned here that the ruling party did not declare its candidates for some constituencies including Goshamahal and the party is yet to decide their candidates. However, CM KCR has announced candidates for 115 of 119 seats and only three Muslim candidates were named in the list.
Raja Singh was suspended by the BJP on August 23 from the party for making controversial statements and outraging religious feelings of a particular religion.
