The World Lion Day here on Thursday was celebrated at Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad. On that occasion, Drawing, Essay Writing and elocution conducted for students and visitors in Junior, Senior and General Category.
“About 120 students from four Government High Schools, 1 TMRES School and Zoo visitors participated in the competitions. A. Nagamani, Dy. Curator, Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad distributed the prizes to the Winners,” informed in a press released.

Curator, Nehru Zoological Park, said that under the guidance and Supervision of Prashant Bajirao Patil, I.F.S., Curator, Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad has conducted all the Ecological days to bring awareness among the young children in wildlife conservation breeding and education.
“Wildlife Education and Extension programmes are much productive in visitors,” The maintenance and good Animal health condition maintained by the Zoo authorities were much lauded by the visitors.
