A man was taken into custody by the railway police for reportedly smoking inside the toilet of Tirupati-Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express that created chaos and panic among the passengers on board.
One of the passengers boarded Train No: 20702 Tirupati-Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express and locked him inside the toilet when he smoked an automatic aerosol fire extinguisher emitted to put off the cigarette fire.
The passengers pulled the chain and step out in panic, forcing authorities to take the person into custody.
One of the windows was found shattered to smoke out. Immediately after stopping the train all the passengers rushed out and RPF personnel reached the spot.
However, the man who was smoking cigarettes inside the toilet and creating trouble for the passengers was arrested. Due to this, the train was delayed by 20-25 minutes.
