The endoscopy room on the second floor of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi caught fire on Monday.
According to officials, every patient in the room was successfully shifted to other ward. The AIIMS officials on the fire incident stated that no casualties have been reported and that the fire is under control.
“A fire call was received at 11:54 a.m. from the AIIMS emergency ward and 8 fire tenders reached to the spot to control the fire,’’ said, Atul Garg, Director Fire Services
The Fire reportedly started from endoscopy room which is located on the Second floor of the old OPD. All are safe and fire brought under control successfully.
