Train Killing: A man from Hyderabad is one of the victims, family seeks justice

Syed Saifuddin, 48, from Bazaarghat, Nampally in Hyderabad, has been identified as the fourth victim of an RPF constable’s shooting spree onboard Jaipur-Mumbai Express.

According to family members, Saifuddin was a mobile phone technician working at an accessories store in Koti and was on his way to Mumbai from Jaipur. Saifuddin, basically is from Bidar in Karnataka, had shifted to Hyderabad almost 12 years ago. Saifuddin is survived by his wife and three kids, and a six-month-old toddler. The body was taken to his native place Bidar for burial.

Last week, Saifuddin and his employer travelled from Hyderabad to Ajmer Sharif and then took a train to Mumbai to buy mobile accessories and unfortunately the tragedy struck.

“We are in shocked after railway police arrived at our door in the morning to inform us of my husband’s death, the assailant should be hanged,” family demanded.

Terming the killing as a heinous crime family members sought 5 crore compensation as he was a breadwinner.  “We demand a compensation of 5 crore for the family because he was the sole breadwinner,” said Saifuddin’s uncle, Mohammed Wajid Pasha, Jaffar Hussain Meraj, MLA, AIMIM  from Nampally, also visited and offered condolences.

It may be mentioned here that an RPF Jawan Chetan Kumar, who was on escorting duty inside Jaipur_Mumbai Express opened fire at the passengers including his own colleague resulting four persons death.
