Four persons were killed by a Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable firing on board Jaipur-Mumbai Express on Monday. Accused Chetan Kumar, constable, RPF was arrested with his service Arm, who was on the run after the incident.
In the startling videos being circulated on Social Media showed that how an escorting guard turned killer inside the train and he has hailed PM Modi- CM Yogi, saying tht, “ Hindustan Mein Bas Do Hi Hai, Ek yogi, Ek Modi,’’. According to media reports, he belongs to Hatras UP, while performing his duty in the moving Jaipur-Mumbai Express shot his senior ASI Tikaram Meena. Three other passengers shot dead identified as Abdul Khadir Bhanpurwala, Mohammed Hussain and Asgar Kai.
Neeraj Verma, DRM said that the authorities have been informed with regard to firing incident at about 6 am. The constable who was on escorting opened fire in the running train between Bhayander and Mira Road Stations.
“At around 6am we got to know that an RPF constable, who was on escorting duty opened fire. Four people have been shot dead. Our railway officers reached the spot and families have been contacted,’’ said, Neeraj Verma, DRM.
After the incident, questions being raised on the safety and security of Railway passengers. A prominent Journalist Rana Ayyub termed it as an impact of hate speech. “Prime Minister Modi, this is the impact of the anti-Muslim hate speech by leaders of your party. An RPF constable shot dead his own senior and three poor Muslims on a train. After shooting them he is heard telling passengers, ‘If you wish to stay in India,, then just Modi and Yogi’ this one is also on the blood thirsty news anchors demonizing an entire community,’’ tweeted, Rana Ayyub.
