Hyderabad: Automobile theft gang busted, 7 two wheelers seized

Commissioner’s Task Force, South-East Zone Team along with local police busted a two members gang involved in Automobile thefts in the limits of Hussainialam, Kairthabad, I.S.Sadan, Bandlaguda, Kalapathar and Falaknuma Police Station Limit.

The police, however, recovered seven theft vehicles worth around Rs 3.5 lakhs from their possession. 

The arrested persons are Shaik Mustafa,21, Mohammed Afsar, 28 years, from Hyderabad. 

“They are all belongs to economically backward families and they need money for their lavish activities. For which they hatched a plan to commit theft of two wheelers from the various localities of Hyderabad city. Later they have started to commit theft of motor cycles and keeping them at one place for further disposal. In this regards they have committed (07) motor cycles thefts under the limits of Hussainialam, Kalapather, Kairthabad, I.S.Sadan, Bandlaguda and Falaknuma Police Stations,” Police clarified.

Further apprehended persons and recovered property were handed over to the concerned SHOs for further investigation.  

The arrests were made under the supervision of P. RadhaKishan Rao, Deputy Commissioner of Police (OSD), Commissioner’s Task Force by  L. Ramesh Naik, Inspector of Police, South-East Zone Task Force team, SI  P. Sairam, M. Anantha Chary, C. Raghavendra Reddy & staff of South-East Zone Team, Hyderabad City along with local police.
