In view of heavy rains across Telangana and heavy to heavy rainfall forecast forced State Government to announce two-day holidays again for all the educational institutions. The holidays will be in effect from July 26, Wednesday and July 27, Thursday.
Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao instructed Education Minister Sabita Indra Reddy to declare two-day holidays to all the schools across the State to avoid inconvenience during rain.
The announcement came again as the prevailing weather condition and forecast of heavy to heavy rainfall in the next three days across Telangana. The IMD sounded a red alert in the state and extremely heavy rainfall predicted in certain parts of state.
“In view of the adverse weather conditions prevailing in the State, 26.07.2023 and 27.07.2023 are declared as holidays for all schools, Government, Aided, and Private in the state,’’ stated, in the proceedings of the Director, School Education, Telangana.
