Apathy of the civic authorities and inaction to the complaints drove a resident to register his protest by releasing a snake in the GHMC ward office, Alwal.
A resident from Bharathinagar said to have captured a snake that had sneaked into his house, and multiple complaints had been made seeking authorities help, but they reportedly failed to attend the complaint. After waiting hours, the angry resident went to the ward office and registered his protest by releasing the snake in the office.
The incident of releasing the snake on the table went viral on social media and alleged that civic authorities allegedly do not respond to the residents pleas. “GHMC authorities fail to address the issues being faced by the residents in the locality,’’ said, Sampth Kumar resident Bharathinagar, Alwal.
The heavy wreaked havoc in parts of Hyderabad, and outskirts and more rain is likely in the next two days. In the light of the prevailing weather conditions all the educational institutions have been shut and citizens advised to stay indoors during rain.
Water logging, overflowing drains at several places have been a matter of concerned for the people. Despite several complaints no corrective measures taken by the civic authorities to resolve the issues.
