In view of heavy rainfall forecast and traffic jam in Hi-Tech city surroundings; Cyberabad police here on Tuesday came out with an advisory to IT companies and opined the concerned to apply phase-wise logouts of their staff.
Following a heavy downpour that lashed in several parts of Hyderabad on Monday night, traffic had gone out of gear at many junctions in Hi-Tech city areas. The office goers, IT employees, and others had a tough time to reach to their respective destinations.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) sounded a red alert for Telangana and heavy rainfall predicted over the next three days. The citizens have also been advised to take appropriate measures and avoid venturing out of their homes without any purpose during the rain.
Log out at 3 pm have been advised to certain IT companies located between IKEA-Cyber Tower, TCS, Dell, Oracle, and Tech Mahindra. The other companies situated at Raidurgam, and Gachibowli have been opined to implement log-out time 4:30 pm, 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. The advisory was issued to ensure free flow of traffic movements in IT hub areas.
