“Helping prevent Amputations for patients with Diabetic Foot,’’ HHF | Hyderabad

Osmania General Hospital (OGH)- Lepra- Helping Hand Foundation (HHF) has joined hands to help the poorest of the poor patients, who suffer from Diabetic Foot, Ulcers, and Gangrene. Customized Diabetic Shoes, made by LEPRA at a subsidized cost, will be sponsored by Helping Hand Foundation (HHF), while the Osmania General Hospital (OGH), works will treat the patients all at zero cost.

“Special Diabetic shoes, hitherto unaffordable, will now be an integral part of the treatment, for the poorest of the poor, whose mobility is a matter of survival,’’ informed by HHF.

According to HHF, “This informal agreement was today reached in the presence of OGH Superintendent, Dr. B. Nagender, Dr. Rakesh Sahay, and Dr. K. Neelaveni, HOD of Endocrinology, Dr, Manisha Sahay, HOD of Nephrology, Dr. Rajeev, HOD Dermatology and Venerology, Dr. Aparna and Prashant Naik from Lepra,’’
