The purpose of conducting ‘Waqf-Darbar’ is to expose the alleged nexus between politicians and tainted Telangana State Waqf Board (TSWB) officials, behind their involvement in Waqf-Land encroachments.
Hakeem Sufi Syed Shah Mohammed Khiaruddin Quadri, president, AISUC told VM that the ‘Waqf-Darbar’ to be held on July, 16 between 10 am to 5 pm at Abid Ali Century Hall, Abids to bring to light the Waqf-Mafia.
Mahmood Parcha, senior advocate from Delhi will be the Chief Guest who is likely to lead the Waqf-Darbar’. “The objective of holding ‘Waqf-Darbar’ is to highlight the encroachment of the Waqf-lands and apathy of the TSWB authorities in dealing with land mafia.
The irregularities of the Waqf-officials will also be exposed in this ‘Waqf-Darbar’. Beside this, it will be decided about the future plan to take legal initiatives against the illegal occupants,’’
It may be mentioned here that acres of waqf lands are reportedly sold out by issuing fake NOs and some expensive lands encroached.
