A minor girl fell into a dug up pit at Mohammed Nagar area on Monday noon under Bundlaguda Limits, but she was luckily rescued by a person.
A CCTV footage of the incident appeared on Social Media showing the girl was heading towards and sudden fell into the pit. In the meantime, a man appears and pulled her out from the pit.
Locals complained that the incomplete pre-monsoon work in the locality has become a headache for everyone passing through the lane. despite this, no proper steps are taken to address the problems being faced by the residents.
The matter, however, was reportedly brought to the notice of the officials concerned many time seeking to expedite the works, but nothing has been done in this regard. “Luckily, the girl was rescued by an alert Hotel worker located nearby, who saw her fell into the pit and rushed to rescued the girl,’’ said, one of the residents at Mohammed Nagar area, under Bundlaguda.
The residents sought GHMC and concerned authorities to complete the work as early as possible.
“The situation may worse if it rains and it may cause to add our woes. So, the authorities should complete the work without any further delay,’’ said, another resident.
