One of Hyderabad’s most senior clerics Maulana Qubool Pasha Shuttari on Monday passed away after battling an illness at the age of 82. He was survived by a son and four daughters.
He has been a member of All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), convener of the Ruyat-e-Hilal committee and the secretary of Sadar Majlis Ulema-e-Deccan, took his last breath at Owaisi Hospital on Monday early morning.
According to the details, Maulana Qubool Pasha Shuttari was unwell for the last several weeks and in the wee hours of morning today his health condition suddenly deteriorated and he was rushed to the hospital where he breathed his last.
Islamic Scholars and Political leaders from different parts of the Hyderabad and district expressed grief over his demise. According to sources, his funeral prayers will be performed tonight at Mecca Masjid and will be laid to rest at the graveyard abutting Masjid-E-Shuttaria.
