Muslim community is learnt to be disappointed with Bhartiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) over long pending-issues persist in certain localities under Srilingampally constituency.
Apathy of the concerned authorities and lack of local leaders’ attention towards Muslim areas has been a matter of concern. They alleged that despite making several complaints and requests nothing was being done to respite people from prevailing conditions.
Inayath Ali, social activist told Voiceupmedia that the problems being faced by the residents in Muslims areas were not being addressed by the authorities. He notified that the HMWSSB official reportedly failed to solve Anjaihnagar graveyard issue, wherein sewage water flowing into the burial ground for the last several months. The matter, however, was brought to the notice of all the officials concerned, but no corrective initiatives are taken.
“The accumulation of sewage water inside the burial ground caused to deeply hurt the sentiments of the people. Though, the matter was brought to the notice of concerned authorities despite this nobody appears serious to pay attention toward these problem. I personally called thrice to MLA’s PA regarding this issue and informed him about matter, except hollow words nothing practically done,’’ said, one of the social activists Inayath Ali.
It may be mentioned here that sewage water flowing into Anjaihnagar graveyard triggered resentment among the Muslim community and sought clarification from local leaders and concerned authorities as to why not the problems are solved?
