BJP State President Bandi Sanjay Kumar here on Thursday was granted conditional bail by the Hanamkonda magistrate court in SSC paper leak case.
He is likely to be released on Friday and magistrate asked him to furnish sureties of Rs 20,000. Bandi Sanjay was also asked to cooperate with the investigation and should not leave the country.
Earlier, BJP Chief was picked up from his residence in Karimnagar by the police and he was named as prime accused in SSC paper leak case.
It may be mentioned here that SSC question papers leak has created a political turmoil in Telangana State. Though, some individuals have also been arrested involved in SSC papers leak and investigation is underway.
Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay had filed bail petition in the court of the IVth Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate at Hanamkonda in Warangal and the matter was posted for hearing on Monday.
He was sent to 14 days judicial remand by the court on Wednesday. A separate petition to quash the order of Hanamkonda court was filed by the BJP’s legal cell in the Telangana High Court which was posted the matter to April 10.
On Thursday the court heard the argument and granted him conditional bail in SSC’s exam Hindi question paper leakage case.
