Hyderabad: Several Muslim religious leaders and scholars here on Wednesday asked the community people to avoid roaming outside without any purpose and offer prayers at their respective places on Thursday in the wake of Hanuman Jayanthi Shobha Yatra rallies to be undertaken in the city of Hyderabad.
Mohammed Anwar Ahmed, Nayab-Shaik-ul-Tafseer, Jamia Nizamia said that Hindu Community will be celebrating Hanuman Jayanthi at several places in the old city of Hyderabad on Thursday. He wanted Muslim brothers and sisters to abstain from visiting markets and streets.
“I sincerely appeal to the people of Hyderabad especially Muslims to ensure offering prayers in the mosques and avoid to roam in the streets and markets. Similarly, I urge our sisters to avoid venturing out in the markets without any purpose. As usual, recite Quran and supplications at your homes,’’ he appealed to the people of Hyderabad in view of Hanuman Jayanthi Celebrations and rallies planed in the city.
Elaborate security arrangements have made by the Hyderabad City Police to ensure smooth and peaceful passage of the rallies. Additional security personnel have been deployed in sensitive areas and closing monitoring the situations.
