Palestine cries for attention: Scores were wounded in Israeli forces violent attack in Masjid-e-Aqsa

Scores of men, women and children have been injured after Israeli forces carried out violent raid inside the Masjid-e-Aqsa on Tuesday night.

The devotees have beaten up badly by the dozens of heavily armed Israeli forces who stormed inside the Masjid-e-Aqsa and shelled tear gas and stun grenades into the Qibli prayer Hall, where many worshippers including children, elders were staying to offer prayers.

The aggressive manner and violent attacks of the armed forces with Palestinians were shown in the videos being circulated on Social Media.

“Rubber-coated steel bullets, batons, riot guns were used against the worshippers inside the Masjid-e-Aqsa by Israeli forces,’’ eyewitnesses, tweeted and shared details of the attack.

According to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), it had multiple reports of injuries inside the Masjid-e-Aqsa, but was not able to find out the exact number of casualties due to Israeli forces blocked the medics from reaching the wounded people.

Local media reported that many have been injured with bruises, fractures, and breathlessness from inhaling tear gas. “Scores of people have been arrested by the Israeli forces during the violent rain inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque,’’ said, Palestinian Commissioner of Detainees Affairs.

Meanwhile, following raid and attacks the Mosque authorities around Al-Quds called on Palestinians to stage a mass rally in the occupied city and support those assaulted and arrested in Masjid-e-Aqsa.
