Tension prevailed at Morgi Chowk Karwan area under Tappachabutra Police Station Limits on Tuesday late night after a man was shot dead over personal enmity.
The deceased was identified as Akash Singh, 26, was shot dead by assalaints over alleged personal enmity. Akash Singh, had gone to Karwan area over a matter where he was killed by his some accquaintance.
“We are collecting more information about the killing and firing. As per preliminary information, Askash Singh received multiple bullets fired by the assailants who fled from the spot. The personel enmity is believed to be reason behind the killing,” said, a police officials.
After the incident heavy police personnel have been deployed in the locality to ensure peace and tranquility.
A case has been registered and probe is on.
