Open nalas and prevailing unhealthy atmosphere has become a matter of concern for the old city residents with improper desilting and blocked drains, nalas compounding the problems further.

Mohammed Ahmed, TTDP, GHMC, Minority Vice-President, told voiceupmedia.in that Rahmathpura nala has not been cleared for the last many weeks despite several complaints. The officials should take immediate note of the problem being faced by the people and inspect the condition around the nalas in the old city of Hyderabad.
“Rahmathpura Nala & Old city has not been cleared since 6 months, garbage dumping is on hike, no walls has been erected on open nala culvert. Many complaints have been lodged but no action has initiated,’’ tweeted, Mohammed Ahmed, TDP leader from old city.
The residents also complained that lack of cleanliness in the localities caused to create health problems. The authorities are reportedly not in a mood to heed towards public issues in old city.
