Several Congress leaders were placed under house arrest as a preventive measures by Hyderabad Police.
The Congress leaders were not allowed to proceed to SIT office to submit a memorandum over TSPSC paper leak.
Congress leaders including Mohammed Ali Shabbir, Mallu Ravi, Rohin Reddy, Addanki Dayakar and other leader put under house arrest by the police.
“This is being used as a weapon by KCR Govt to suppress the opposition. Anticipating protest by Congress party over TSPSC paper leak, all our top leaders were either illegally arrested or placed under house arrest. This is KCR’s model of ‘democracy’,” tweeted, Mohammed Ali Shabbir.
The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Revanth Reddy took strong exception against police action with party leaders and vowed to continue fight till the unemployed youth gets justice.
“The arrest of our party leader is highly objectionable and deplorable one. I was asked to appear at the SIT office to give evidence over TSPSC paper leak,” Revanth Reddy, president TPCC tweeted.
Nine persons have been arrested involved in TSPSC question paper leak in Telangana.
