City-based NGO HHF releases “Annual Activity Report”-2022-23

Hyderabad: A city-based NGO Helping Hand Foundation (HHF) here on Tuesday released its “Annual Activity Report-2022-2023”. 

Over five lakh people have been provided medical services by Helping Hand Foundation (HHF), along with it’s donors and partner. It said to have delivered Rs 16.60 crores worth of comprehensive Health Care Services to the underprivileged.

“Helping Hand Foundation HHF, touched more than five lakh (3 Lacs patients through its clinics, 𝟭.𝟭𝟬 𝗹𝗮𝗰𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗣 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗞 in Government Hospitals and rest through medical relief) & collectively saved Rs 85 Crores worth of out-of-pocket expenses of the economically weaker sections,” mentioned in the reported shared by Helping Hand Foundation in it’s Annual Activity Report 2022-23.

 The NGO further mentioned in the report that 𝗥𝘀 𝟭𝟲.𝟲𝟬 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 were spent from the donations and Grants received this year, in which Health Care spend was 𝟴𝟬 per cent of the gross receipts.

“Thanks to our Donors, we fully sponsored 𝟴𝟬 𝗣𝗮𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗰 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 & 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝘀 𝟮.𝟭𝟬 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 to give a new lease of life to young children. Our HELP DESK in 𝟭𝟭 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟭.𝟬 𝗹𝗮𝗰 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 from weaker sections and saved Rs 11 Crores worth of medical expenses,’’ notified, Mujtaba Hasan Askari, president, Helping Hand Foundation.

It was also mentioned in the report that, “HHF-SEED 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟰𝟰𝟬 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, which saved Rs 72 lacs worth of hard-earned money for these poor patients,’’

The NGO stated that HHF-SEED Primary Health Care Clinics served 𝟯.𝟬 𝗹𝗮𝗰𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟴 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 and covered a catchment of 115 Urban Slums.

“Comprehensive and high-quality primary care has translated into a 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝘀 𝟭𝟯 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘀. We provided treatment fully, partially to another 𝟭𝟳𝗸 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝘀 𝟯.𝟯𝟬 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀,’’ stated in the report.
