Patna: Asaduddin Owaisi, president, All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) reached at Kishanganj on Friday for a 3-day visit to Bihar’s (Seemanchal) Muslim dominated four districts comprising Purnia Division.
According Party sources, Assaduddin Owaisi would participate in “Seemanchal Adhikar Yatra” on March 18-19 to highlight the issues being faced by people in the region and government’s anti-people policies.
Mr.Owaisi is also likely to attend different programmes to be held in Kishanganj, Kochadhaman, Amour, Balrampur, and in other areas.
Prior to this, Asaduddin Owaisi was welcome by party leaders of Bihar’s unit and reached to Kishanganj by road where he met people.
Assaduddin Owaisi’s visit to Seemanchal region is considered to be a political significance as the ruling Mahagathbandhan has organised a big rally at Purnia on February 25.
It may be mentioned here that Amit Shah, Union Home Minister during September 22, had addressed to a massive rally and had stayed for a couple of days in Purnia to energise the party workers for the Lok Sabha and Bihar Assembly polls in 2024 and 2025.
