Adilabad: NGO brings medical care at the doorsteps of the tribals

With an intention to bring medical facility at the doorstep of the tribal villages, Hyderabad-based NGO, Helping Hand Foundation (HHF) launched a Health Care Service “Accessible and Affordable” for the Tribals in Adilabad District of Telangana.

According to HHF, NGO, many tribal populations are suffering from Non-Communicable diseases. Some of them with long standing untreated conditions are suffering silently.

“HHF, has screened and identified such GOND Tribals from erstwhile, Adilabad District & will be facilitating their treatment free of cost at Government Tertiary Hospitals. Today, 8 members from Masaipet Village under Kadam Mandal a Gond Hamlet, suffering with long standing chronic health issues where brought to Hyderabad and sent to Osmania General Hospital,’’ Informed, Mujtaba Hasan Askari, president, Helping Hand Foundation.

He said that the Team Helping Hand Foundation at Osmania General Hospital (OGH), would facilitate their consolations, test and admissions if required and monitor them closely till recovery.
