Urdu is considered and claimed to be the second official language of the Telangana State, but hardly gets respect on certain occasions.

Similarly, another longest flyover at Kothaguda is going to be inaugurated soon and all the arrangements have been made to throw it open for the people in January 2023.

Surprisingly, the second official language ‘Urdu’ was not mentioned on the signboard, put up at the flyover’s entrance. Prior to this, a similar incident came to light after registering protests by Urdu lovers for alleged negligence toward the language on the Shaikpet flyover sign board.

The Kothaguda flyover comes under the Srilingampally constituency, which is represented by the BRS (TRS) MLA Arekapudi Gandhi.

“Every time, we have to remind our public representatives about the Urdu language and it is very surprising that despite knowing that there are Urdu-speaking people exist in the state, despite this such type of mistake takes place again and again and no such mistakes seen during elections,’’ said, one of the regular motorists Sohail.

Almost 823 meters long, 16.6 meters wide, and four-lane bi-directional not eased traffic but also improved the connectivity between Hi-Tech city, Gachibowli, and Miyapur.

Traffic coming from Miyapur, Hafeezpet, heading towards Hi-Tech City, Madhapur, Gachibowli and other places will have much relief. Similarly, motorists from Gachibowli, Hi-Tech city will reach to their respective destinations smoothly and fast.

Also, the underpass from Kondapur to Kothaguda will give smooth and fast passage to the vehicular without any halt.
