According to National Center for Seismology an earthquake of 3.8 magnitudes was recorded in Haryana’s Jhajjar with tremors felt in Delhi and it’s surroundings on Sunday. However, there are no reports of injuries or damage in the tremors.
National Center for Seismology stated that an “Earthquake of magnitude 3.8 was recorded on January 1, 2023 at about 01:19:42 IST, Lat: 28.71 and Long: 76.62, Depth; 5 KM, Location: 12Km NNW of Jhajjar, Haryana,’’
It may be mentioned here that the tremors were felt in Delhi and its surrounding areas on November 12. According to NCS, the magnitude of the last earthquake (Nov 12) was 5.4 on the Richter scale that occurred in Nepal, at about 7:57 pm.
