Washington: The United States on Tuesday reacted to the India-China border clash in Arunachal Pradesh. The White House informed that the Biden Administration was glad to know that either side India-China quickly disengaged after clashing in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawan sector.
Karine Jean-Pierre, White House spokesperson, said that the US was closely monitoring the situation and encourages both sides to utilize the existing bilateral paths to discuss disputed boundaries.
“We are glad both sides have quickly disengaged from clashes. We are closely monitoring the situation and encourage India and China to utilize existing bilateral channels to discuss disrupted boundaries,’’ said, Karine Jean-Pierre, White House spokesperson over Indo-China tension.
The confrontation between Indian and China soldiers in the Tawan sector in Arunachal Pradesh on Friday led to a clash causing injuries to personnel on either side. The Indian Army personnel gave a befitting reply to the Chinese troops in the face-off area.
