Saudi Arabia’s oldest man and Mecca’s oldest worshipper died at the age of 134 on December 10. He is also known as the ‘’Dove of the Haram’’ for his excellent record of attendance at the Mosque.
According to the details, Sheik Oudh Al Harbi was the oldest worshiper at Masjid Al-Haram. The offices of two holy mosques announced his demise on Twitter. He was 134 years old and known for his regular performance of prayers in Masjid-Al-Haram.
“It has been reported that Sheik Awad Al Harbi has passed away. He is considered to be the longest-lived person in Makkah Al Mukkaramah and was also nicknamed “Dove of the Haram” due to his excellent record of attendance at the Holy Mosque,’’ Tweeted, Haramain Sharifain.
He spent most of his time in Masjid Al Haram in Makka offering prayers (namaz). The people from different places expressed sadness at his demise and prayed for him.
After living a period of 134 years, Oudh Al Harbi passed away yesterday. He was a regular at Masjid Al Haram and had performed prayers at the Grand Mosque for the majority of his life and was usually seen by pilgrims performing Tawaaf / Performing Salaah at Masjid Al Haram pic.twitter.com/W6Bqt67UZF
