Thane Crime Branch here on Saturday arrested two persons with fake Rs 2,000 notes worth Rs 8 crores.
On a tip-off the police carried out raids at certain places in Maharashtra and took two accused in the matter and seized Rs 2,000 denomination Indian currency with face value of Rs 8 crores from their possession in around 400 bundles.
The Police, however, registered a case and investigation is. There are more people are suspected to be behind this episode and police may bring more people to front in this case.
