Hyderabad : A delegation led by Amjed Ullah Khan (Spokesman) MBT and Osman Mohammed Khan (Organising Secretary, TPCC) along with Babu shaik (Khammam) C H Elyiah (Sarpanch) Mamillagudem, Shaik Saidulu (President) Masjid-e-Omer Saadi Mamillagudem, Mohammed Sayyad Miya (President) Eid Gah Mamillagudem, Shaik Ghouse Pasha (President) Masjid-e-Mohamadia Yedavalli Village in Khammam District and others here on Wednesday met Mohammed Masi Ullah Khan (Chairman) Telangana State Wakf Board and submitted a memorandum seeking immediate protection of the Eid Gah situated under Survey No: 290 in Mamillagudem Village of Mothey Mandal of Suryapet District; which is going to be demolished by National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).
The delegation demanded that a police complaint should be lodge by Telangana State Wakf Board (TSWB) against NHAI Officials and Contractor for reportedly hurting religious sentiments and damaging the surroundings of the area without informing the local Muslims or Telangana State Wakf Board.
The delegation also requested the Chairman TS Wakf Board to inquire about the 9.20 Acres of Wakf land and Govt’s claim on that Wakf land and take necessary action for reconstruction of a new spacious Eid Gah on Wakf land or existing Govt land by tapping MP & MLA local area development funds.
Mohammed Masi Ullah Khan (Chairman) assured the delegtion that he would take all steps to protect the existing Eid Gah and for reconstruction of a new Eid Gah in Mamillagudem Village of Mothey Mandal in Mothey Mandal of Suryapet District.
