MBT Demands protection of Eid Gah, Mamillagudem, Suryapet District, Telangana

Amjed Ullah Khan (Spokesman) MBT on Tueday visited Mamillagudem Village in Suryapet District, Telangana where existing Eid Gah in Survey No: 290 is being reportedly demolished by National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).

Mr Khan met Shaik Saidulu (President) Masjid-e-Omer Saadi and other committee members who have been conducting Eid Namaz in the said Eid Gah since last 20 years.

The local Muslims said that the said Eid Gah have 9.20 Acres of Wakf land, which is being claimed as Govt land by said Revenue Authorities.

The Dist Collector (Suryapet) and RDO (Suryapet) are putting pressure on local Muslims to accept the compensation of Rs/ 12,000 being given and should accept the removal of Eid Gah and should not lay their claim on 9.20 Acres of Wakf land.

Mr Khan alerted Mohammed Masi Ullah Khan (Chairman) Telangana State Wakf Board to intervene in this matter and protect the Eid Gah and its 9.20 Acres of land and built a new and spacious Eid Gah for Mamillagudem Village muslims.

Mr Khan also said it is the responsibility of Mahmood Ali Minister for Home, Jagdiswar Reddy Minister for Energy who is In-charge Minister of Suryapet District and Uttam Kumar Reddy (MP) Nalgonda District of Congress party and Bollam Mallaiah Yadav (MLA) Kodad Assembly Constituency of TRS party to safeguard the said Eid Gah.
