Kodangal: The residents came out in large numbers on Tuesday night to participate in a candle march organized by the parents of the 11-year-old boy; who was found dead on Oct 31, having been sexually assaulted and killed by his neighbour.
The participants sought immediate harsh punishment to accused involved in the heinous crime.
Locals’ residents along with parents took to the streets holding banners and candles in hands, staged protest and demanded death sentence to the accused who is involved in the killing of an innocent boy. “It is a heinous crime and the culprits should be hanged publicly,’’ the aggressive protestors raised slogans in the March.
Police said that the accused Ajay has been arrested in the case and investigation is on.
Raza Khan, 11-year-old was kidnapped and murdered by his neighbour Ajay on October 30 at Kodangal in Vikarabad District. The boy was allegedly sodomized and killed, whose body was found in a suitcase nearby his house on October 31.
The parents and others condemned the incident and sought death sentence to the arrester persons.
