More than two lakh voters will decide the fate of the candidate in Munugode Assembly Constituency by poll, to be held on Thursday. The political campaigns of TRS, BJP and other parties in Munugode was tough enough and all the parties made all possible efforts to win the election battle.
Polling staff were pressed into service and reached the polling stations in Munugode Assembly constituency and large number of security personnel were deployed to prevent any untoward incidents.
Chief Electoral officer Vikar Raj issued orders to ensure elaborate security arrangements for the peaceful conduct of the polling in the Munugode Constituency. It may be mentioned here that TRS and BJP clashed at Palivela Village during election campaigns for their respective candidates.
Polling Staff with EVMs, VVPAT reached polling stations amid tight security and polling material also distributed among the staff. A total 47 candidates are contesting in the by poll and the voters will decide the fate of these candidates.
The voting will be held between 7 am to 6 pm in Munugode Assembly Constituency tomorrow. Overall, 296 polling centres have been set up in the constituency. Elaborate Security arrangements have made and more than 100 sensitive areas were identified by the officials, where Police personnel and central forces were deployed to thwart any untoward incident in Munugode constituency.
