The Cyberabad Police here on Monday paid a rich homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, on the occasion of his 146-birth anniversary and celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day). Mr. Avinash Mohanty, Joint Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad administered the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas pledge to a gathering of officers in the ground.
“A humble tribute to the Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the pioneer of National Unity and Integrity. A truly great leader and his work was characterized by excellence. He has made his place in the history of our nation and in our hearts for eternity,’’ said, Mr. Avinash Mohanth, while addressing to a gathering on the occasion of National Unity Day.
He further said that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel played an instrumental role in India’s struggle for independence, is hailed even today his contributions. “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel played an important role in country’s freedom movement. He is credited with uniting all 562 princely Sates of the pre-independent to build the Republic of India,’’ added, Cyberabad Joint CP.
