Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police here on Wednesday caught three persons with a huge cash reportedly, were trying to lure TRS Party MLAs to switch the Party in lieu of Money.
According Police, Satish Sharma, 33, priest from Fareedbad Haryana State, D. Simhavaji, 45, Nandakura, 48 were found in a farm house located at Aziznagar in Moinabad.
Stephen Ravendra, Cyberabad Police Commissioner clarified that on a tip off raid was carried out by the police, wherein three persons were taken into custody for allegedly who lured TRS MLA to switch the Party in lieu of money.
“On a tip off from TRS MLAs, we have raided a farm house and found cash at the place. Ramchandra Bharathi, Simhayaji, Peethadipathi, Nanda Kumar a BJP leader were holding discussion in the farm house. We have taken them all into custody and will find out the fact,’’ said, Stephen Raveendra, Cyberabad Commssioner.
TRS MLAs R. Kantha Rao, G. Balaraju, B. Harshvardhan Reddy and Pilot Rohit Reddy had informed the police about the attempts were being made to lure them to shift the loyalties. The TRS had alleged that the BJP is trying to lure it’s MLAs to defect, adding that those detained by the police are close to BJP leaders.
