Chennai, Oct 26 (Voiceup Media): The Tamil Nadu Government here on Wednesday demanded Central Government to order NIA probe into the Coimbatore car blast case, in which a suspected IS radicalist Jameesha Mubin, was killed on Sunday.
A decision to recommend NIA investigation was taken at a high-level meeting headed by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin at the State Secretariat, wherein the present status of the probe undertaken by the State Police and preventive measures put in place in Coimbatore in view of the blast were discussed.
Tamil Nadu Police claimed that it had the proof to confirm that all the five accused in the car blast case, have links to ISIS. Feroz Ismail, an accused, who allegedly close Jamesha Mubin, died in the blast and had been deported from Dubai during 2019 for alleged links with ISIS.
