Hyderabad: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee here on Wednesday celebrated the ‘Sadbhavana Yatra Commemoration Day’.
Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavana Yatra Commemoration Committee Chairman and TPCC senior vice-president G. Niranjan, and other committee members paid homage offering floral tribute to the portrait of Rajiv Gandhi at Charminar.
The services of the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and his encouragement for the innovations in the science and technology in the country were remembered in the programme.
Speaking on that occasions, Senior Congress Party Leader V. Hanumanth Rao said that good-days would come soon with the Bharat Judo Yatra undertaken by Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi in the country. He, however, asked people to come forward to join the Yatra and make it successful.
“I sincerely appeal everyone to come forward to make successful Bharat Judo Yatra launched by Rahul Gandhi. I am sure, the Yatra will bring good-days again in the country,’’ said, V. Hanumanth Rao, while addressing to a gathering at Charminar.
Lashing out at Prime Minister Narender Modi’s leaderships he alleged that BJP Government had completely failed to fulfill promises made to the Nation.
“The people are facing many problems, due to the poor performance of the Prime Minister Narender Modi in the country. The demonetization and other policies undertaken by the government has been a matter of concerned for the people. PM Modi had promised to transfer Rs 15 lakh rupees in every account but nothing has been done except hollow words,”
