Hyderabad: Jubilee Hills Constituency Colonies Forum (JHCCF) here on Friday met Ravi Kiran, Khairtabad Zonal Commissioner and submitted representations with regard to developments works in different colonies.
A delegation headed by Asif Hussain Sohail, Founding Chairman of the Sakina Foundation Trust brought to the notice of Khairtabad Zonal Commissioner about the problems being faced by the residents in the colonies, due to bad roads, footpaths and illegal constructions.
He said that Surya Nagar Colon, Aditya Nagar Colony and other colonies have many issues under Shaikpet Division. “30 Colonies Welfare Associations and more than 200 Shaikpet residents submitted representation to Zonal Commissioner GHMC regarding Shaikpet Development including roads, parks, play grounds, footpaths, community center, Library, Safe and Secure Colony Project and Illegal Constructions,’’ said, Asif Hussain Sohail.
He further said that 60-70 lakh rupees were already sanctioned for the development of Suryanagar Colony and remaining budget is likely to be sanctioned to start the works soon. “A representation consisting of 300 complaints were also submitted to Zonal Commissioner about the illegal constructions in the colonies. We hope that the authorities will soon initiate the action in this regard,’’
