Hyderabad: Six arrested in rowdy-sheeter murder case

Hyderabad: The Sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone along with Bhavani Nagar Police here on Friday arrested six persons involved in a murder case. The Police have seized four knives, a two-wheeler, five cell phones and a splendor vehicle from their possession.
DCP South Zone, Sai Chaitanya clarified that six accused including K. Anand Agarwal, Mohd Abdul Anser, Mirza Faiz Ali Baig, Syed Yousuf, Azher, Mohd Shoeb Ur Rahman were arrested for killing Syed Bakhteyar Agha Quereshi (Rowdy-sheeter) of Rein Bazaar Police Station.
Police said that the key accused Anand Agarwal was an associate of late Mohd Parvez alias Farru was rowdy sheeter of Jawahar Nagar Police Station. The deceased Syed Bakhteyar Agha Qureshi and his brother had murdered Mohd Parvez (rowdy-sheeter) during 2014.
“After 3 months Farru murdered Khusru, 2021, Mohd Parvez (Farru) was murdered in Reiz Bazar PS Limits during that time deceased was in Dubai. but Furru’s followers suspected Mohammed Agaha behind the murder of Farru. All the accused planned to kill Syed Bakhteyar Agha Qureshi and when the deceased reached Anmol Hotel area, he was killed,’’ added, DCP South Zone, while speaking media.
