Hyderabad Voiceup Media: Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed (SAW), is being celebrated across the Telangana State with religious fervor.
Meanwhile, thousands of devotees took part in the Milad-un-Nabi processions taken out from different places in the old city of Hyderabad. The processions were undertaken from Darghan Quadri Chaman, which passed through different routes and merged at Charminar at about 1 pm.
Later, the central procession was flagged off by religious scholars, which passed through Gulzar Houz, Pathergatti, Nayapul, Salajun Museum, Purani Haveli, Etebar Chowk and culminated at Moghalpura. While raising slogans of Prophet Mohammed (SAW), devotees in large numbers participate in Milad-Juloos across Hyderabad.
Men, Women and children in their best attire mark the day. At many places foods were distributed among the people and devotees were welcomed by the organizers at several places in the old city of Hyderabad.
“Education is most important in Islam and we have to follow the teaching of Prophet Mohammed (SAW) in leading the life,’’ said, Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Home Minister Telangana State, while participating in Milad procession at Charminar.
